We've done our best to make Two Rivers a welcome place for people, whatever your background, whether you're a longtime church attender or this is your first time of giving it a try. Our atmosphere is fairly casual - most people dress in every day clothes and we're pretty fun and low key as churches go.

Our services last about 80 minutes. We usually start with a song or two. Our worship band is basically acoustic rock - guitar, bass guitar, dejembe etc. The words will be up on the projection screen, so it's easy to follow along. Don't worry if you don't know the songs. We didn't know them at first either. For an example of the worship music we do, click here.

Following the opening worship, one of our leaders will come up and give a few plugs for things going on at the church. After that we'll usually have an offering. As our guest, feel free to participate or not - your choice. After the announcements, the elementary school aged kids will be dismissed for their kids church lesson. (For more on our kids ministry, click here) Then, our pastor will get up and share a few thoughts from the Bible that will be helpful for you as you try to connect to God/Jesus.

At the close of the message, there will be an opportunity to respond either through prayer or continued worship. In the front corner of the auditorium willl be some gifted pray-ers - they'd love to pray with you about anything you'd like prayer for. We encourage you to take advantage of the prayer ministry - praying with others can be a great avenue to encounter God in a tangible way.

The rest of the congregation will go back into a time of singing. During worship, some people may raise their hands in the air, kneel, or close their eyes. We encourage you to connect with God during this time in whatever way works best for you. He's waiting for you with open arms.

After a few songs, one of our leaders will come up again and give a closing prayer and dismissal.

If you're a newcomer at Two Rivers, be sure to pick up a info packet after the service at the Welcome Table (in the hallway). The packet has a free CD sampler of Vineyard worship music and a little info about Two Rivers, what we believe, etc...
