For those that visit my blog on a semi-regular basis...  sorry that I haven't posted for a few weeks.  It's been a hectic last few weeks with a couple ministry trips, and finishing up our bathroom remodeling (woohoo!)   Anyway, just wanted to give a heads up that I am heading to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico this coming week as part of a mission trip.  Myself and 3 other Vineyard Pastors are going to visit one of the newer Vineyard churches in Mexico - should be lots of fun (and it doesn't hurt that we are going at the end of February!!)

Our week is going to be filled with a mixture of activities.  We had people within our churches partner with us in buying tennis shoes for kids in the Mexican colonias.  The neat thing is that our contacts in Puerto Vallarta actually went around and measured the kids' feet, and so we were buying specific shoes for specific kids.   Our team is going to visit these kids, deliver their shoes, and have a chance to pray for them and their families.   Besides that, we will be doing various leadership training things with the people in the church and encouraging the pastor and his family. 

If you think of us, we'd certainly appreciate your prayers - we fly out tomorrow, February 23rd, and return on March 2nd.  I am hoping we'll have semi-regular access to the internet, so I can post a few pictures and stories.
