This week, I began reading a new book to my 6 & 8 year old girls, Grace and Kate.  The book is called "On The Edge Of The Dark Sea Of Darkness," and it's written by one of my favorite musician/thinkers, Andrew Peterson. 

I'm only a few chapters into it, but so far, I think I could describe it as the most intriguing mixture of C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Monty Python that has ever been written..   :)    Seriously, it is a hoot, and I am finding it enjoyable to read myself, as well as being totally appropriate for my young girls.  We are hoping to finish the book while we are on vacation later this month.  My friend Adam, said he couldn't put the book down after he got halfway through.
