Iowa Flood Relief Efforts |

As most of you know, Iowa and other areas of the Midwest experience over-the-top record flooding earlier this month. Cedar Rapids, the city we moved to Mankato from, was the hardest hit, with over 5000 homes flooded, let alone the hundreds of business and other organizations affected.

LIVESTOCK Follow-up |

Livestock was a HUGE hit! This past Saturday, over 200 people attended the first LIVESTOCK event, taking in some great live music and raising money to buy farm animals through World Vision's program.

I am finally back at things mostly full force today after an interesting past 4-5 days. Thursday night, I took a direct hit in the face with a softball, breaking my nose and a couple small bones in my cheek.

Livestock - This Saturday!!! |

Today, I wanted to put in a plug for a great event that a family in our church is heading up this weekend. It's called Livestock - and it is a cool combination of a outdoor music event and a fundraiser for World Vision.
