Why Little Einstein's Is My Favorite Kids Cartoon
Brian's Blog By admin on Tuesday, August 26, 2008

But, one of the things that came out of the packing adventure was that our friend Lori had a compilation set of 100 favorite classical music pieces that she gave me.... things like Moonlight Sonata, Pachelbel's Cannon, a bunch of Mozart music, etc...

Is there a difference between Christianity and following Jesus?
Brian's Blog By admin on Wednesday, August 20, 2008
I am just finishing up my 5 day trip to Boston. And as I mentioned yesterday, it's been a hugely encouraging, but also challenging time. The Center City Summit I went to was super thought provoking on so many levels, but at least on my initial take-away, one question seems to really stand out.

I am in Boston this week for a really intriguing conference - the Center City Summit - a gathering of people who have an interest in making a difference in secular society for Jesus' sake. It's been a great time so far, both with the conference and from my overall experience in Beantown.

Remembering Elisabeth
Brian's Blog By admin on Thursday, July 31, 2008
We are just finishing up our vacation out west and it is the stereotypical rainy day in Seattle. The weather this afternoon fits my mood a bit - in large part because today would have been our daughter Elisabeth's 11th birthday.

Fun At The Parade
Brian's Blog By admin on Saturday, July 12, 2008
Fun Days 2008 was a real hit - we gave all 5000 free bottles of water by about 75% through the parade, and managed to hand out all 5000 invites to our Kids Worship Jam tomorrow. It's going to be a great time. I'm including a few pictures from the parade, and will maybe post some new ones next week that other people had taken.

It's here again - Fun Days Weekend is our biggest (and funnest) outreach of the whole summer. It's a ton of work, but so worth it. Once again, we'll be having a float in Saturday's parade.

Iowa Flood Relief Efforts
Brian's Blog By admin on Tuesday, June 24, 2008
As most of you know, Iowa and other areas of the Midwest experience over-the-top record flooding earlier this month. Cedar Rapids, the city we moved to Mankato from, was the hardest hit, with over 5000 homes flooded, let alone the hundreds of business and other organizations affected.
