Two Rivers Vineyard® Church is a growing church in the Mankato, MN area, launched in the fall of 2005.  We are part of "The Vineyard®…A Community of Churches", a church planting movement with over 1000 churches around the world.

From our earliest dreams up until today, there have been several key themes that have fueled the vision for Two Rivers Vineyard Church:

-  We want to facilitate people encountering God

-  We want to learn and live what it means to follow Jesus - authentically connecting faith and life 

-  We want to equip leaders to make a difference in Greater Mankato and beyond 

  

Some Specific Core Dreams: 

• TRVC would be an extension of God’s mercy, kindness and justice

  • Touching the spiritual and practical needs of people in such a magnitude that Greater Mankato is an awesome place to live for everyone, whether or not they ever come to TRVC

• TRVC would be a connected community of people that embody the life and character of Jesus

  • Knitted together relationally in expressions like small groups, love and respect in our families and friendships, and encouraging each other to grow up into the likeness of Jesus Christ
    

• TRVC would be a center of God’s supernatural reality and power

  • Numerous new people encountering God and beginning the journey of following Jesus

  • Regular expectation and manifestation of things like healing, prophecy and freedom from spiritual oppression, etc

• TRVC would be an extravagantly generous church

  • Ministry to the poor and broken of our area and around the world

  • Investing in people and systems (both religious and secular) that help pull people into health, stability, and freedom

  • Investing in leaders who will pave the way for the widespread transformation we long to see

• TRVC would be intent in our commitment to the unity of the entire body of Christ

  • Living in a spirit of comradery and cooperation with the other churches in Greater Mankato

  • Encouraging every local church to become and accomplish everything that God has for them

  • Working together for the over-arching goal of seeing Greater Mankato transformed by the mercy and power of Jesus

• TRVC would be a leader as a training/sending church.

  • 120 leaders trained and released into either full-time or bi-vocational ministry (church planters,  cross-culutre mission workers, pastors, worship leaders, etc) by the year 2045

  • Actively participate (either directly or indirectly) in seeing a Vineyard church planted and established in every town in Southern MN with a population of at least 5,000 people (currently numbering 15 cities or city clusters), in every major subsection of the Metro area, as well as any other place that God would lay on our hearts
